hi all,

i'm used to do multiple page layouts in coreldraw 12. but my new boss wants to open them in quark in some way. pdfs are not possible because quark can't open them (a reason why I'm using corel..but he is the boss). is there way to write xml files? can quark open pdf's?
thanks to all!

Please specify your question!

Quark is not able to open a pdf file to edit it, but newer versions of quark can import it (and display it like eps i. e. and thus it is possible to print the content). Quark never was able to edit formats other than the quark file format (and there are compatibility issues with older quark versions, too). It is realistic to say that there won't be a version able to edit specific 3rd party formats in the future.

Conclusion:
If your boss want's to edit your files, he should use another program (i.e. Adobe Illustrator is able to handle pdf files). As CorelDraw is not widely used by professionals he should give you a quark software package and license :)
