    Wolfram Alpha – die ambitionierte und intelligente Suchmaschine – wird offener. Die Entwickler haben ihre API ab der Version 2.0 offen gelegt, die die Integration der Suchmaschine auf Webseiten, dem Desktop oder mobilen Applikationen erlaubt.

    The Wolfram|Alpha API 2.0 adds many important features for developers. An example is asynchronous operation, which improves user experience by allowing initial results to be returned ahead of more time-consuming ones. Another feature is the addition of a full Java language client library. In addition to technical features, the Wolfram|Alpha API 2.0 has simplified licensing that makes it free for personal use and allows significantly greater flexibility for commercial deployment.

      Yeah! Darauf warte ich schon lange. Als Wolfram|Alpha damas mit viel Tamtam ans Netz ging, war ich bitter enttäuscht, dass die API nur für zahlende Kunden zur Verfügung steht. Bin gespannt, was jetzt alles möglich ist!

      vllt bekommen wir ja demnächst ein Mathematica fürs iPhone, somit kann man seinen alten TI wegschmeißen
